LJ Interests meme results
- blues:
It was the music genre that nurtured me. My dad was listening to Muddy Waters and Screamin' Jay Hawkins with me when I was 6. - dashboard confessional:
I should delete them from the list. I started this account over 6 years ago, so I've forgotten to update some things. They're still a decent band, but I'm not as depressed as I was then. - elvis presley:
My idol. Elvis had great hair, a great personality, and most of all, women were still throwing panties at him when he crossed over the 300-lb mark. What a man. - gamecube:
I'm a video game dork at heart, and I love the cube. Zelda, Monkey Ball, Eternal Darkness, etc. - jawbreaker:
Another milestone from my days of depression. But, I still do listen to them. Well written lyrics and a unique voice. - ministry:
The band that jacknifed me into the industrial scene. Amazing intensity, yet danceable. Weird. Still one of my favorite bands. - psychobilly:
Great music. Take a classic, add insanity. The Cramps were my introduction, but I've loved many others since. - sex:
Need I say more? I'm a man. - the coasters:
Yakkity-Yak. Don't talk back. - women:
I'd be gay if I didn't love women so much. I adore women. Especially mine. I love you, Elizabeth.

More Emotional
You have: 70% SCIENTIFIC INTUITION and 85% EMOTIONAL INTUITION</b> |
| The graph on the right represents your place in Intuition 2-Space. As you can see, you scored well above average on emotional intuition and above average on scientific intuition.Your emotional intuition is stronger than your scientific intuition. |
|
Your Emotional Intuition score is a measure of how well you understand people, especially their unspoken needs and sympathies. A high score score usually indicates social grace and persuasiveness. A low score usually means you're good at Quake.
Your Scientific Intuition score tells you how in tune you are with the world around you; how well you understand your physical and intellectual environment. People with high scores here are apt to succeed in business and, of course, the sciences. | |
|
My test tracked 2 variables How you compared to other people your age and gender:
|
You scored higher than 99% on Scientific |
|
You scored higher than 99% on Interpersonal |

System of a Down - Lost in Hollywood |

I started my vacation yesterday (my first paid vacation ever!!!). I went to get my haircut, and I got a call while I was paying.
The call turned out to be one of the supervisors at my work, Greta. Greta was the first person I interviewed with (phone interview) when I got the job through a temp agency. I interviewed with Greta again about two weeks ago for a promotion. She interviewed about 8 people total. All of whom have been there longer than me (I've worked there for 6 months). Two of the people have been there for 5 to 6 years. The moral of the story is that Greta called me, on the first day of my first ever paid vacation, to offer me the promotion. I was, and still am, ecstatic as well as in a bit of disbelief. Greta told me how proud she was of me having started as a temp that was not meant to be hired permanently, being hired despite that, and then getting promoted 6 short months later.
The position is a 4-day, 10-hour schedule. The shift is from 8-6:30, so I'll actually be able to lead a decently normal life.
On a completely different, and a bit more sour, note; Tampa Theater's annual RHPS halloween performance has been cancelled this year. I wasn't going to be able to perform this year, but it's upsetting none the less. Especially because of the circumstances surrounding the reason for the cancellation.
They smile in your face. All the time, they want to take your place. The Backstabbers, Backstabbers.
Anyway, I'm off to pack. I'm heading off to Pittsburgh in a few hours. I'll be back Monday. Have a good weekend, Bitches.
Signing out, Anthony

First, here's 25 bands I've seen live. Take the ones you've seen, and then fill up the rest of the list with others until you've hit 25. I've seen hundreds of bands, but I'll play the game fairly. The first 9 are bands I've seen that Nicci had on her list.
1. Interpol 2. The Cure 3. Primus 4. Switchblade Symphony 5. KMFDM 6. MLWTTKK 7. NIN 8. Ministry 9. Mighty Mighty Bosstones 10. Otep 11. White Zombie 12. L7 13. Lemonheads 14. Tricky 15. Tool 16. Korn 17. Acid Bath 18. DRI 19. The Damned 20. Less Than Jake 21. Our Lady Peace 22. Billy Joel 23. Eric Clapton 24. John Lee Hooker 25. Chuck Berry
Many of these bands/people I've seen numerous times, but I don't remember how many, so we'll just leave it at the fact that I've seen them.

Your Love Style is Manic |

For you, love is the ultimate rollercoaster
And you love to hold on tight and enjoy the ride
Every time you fall in love, it feels like the first time
And while it's exciting and exhilarating...
It's also stressful and scary! |

You are 74% Viking!
There is some viking blood pumping through your veins. We will allow you to fight alongside us since you make the rest of us look good. We might even give you an axe to defend yourself with.
You are also 50% likely to be a berserker. We suggest you pursue this career choice if you like the smell of stinky bear hide, enjoy chomping on poisonous mushrooms and have a good life insurance policy.

Kerry has just called Bush in concession. I realize that most of you disagree with my political views, but I have to say that I am in a very good mood right now. I have given many of you my reasons for voting for Bush/Cheney, so I'm not going into issues in this post.
I am a Reagan child. I grew up respecting Ronnie more than any rock star or football player. So, I assume that the combination of this along with my father's strong political beliefs have shaped my own beliefs.
Whatever got me to this point, I am a Republican. I feel that Kerry's policies would have truly damaged our country. I have lived in England and had to fly back here because their "wonderful" social health care system was a piece of shit even though we were paying out half of our pay check for it. Just realize that "free" health care is not truly free. I guess this was the issue that bothered me most about Kerry, but there are many, many more.
I wish some of you would see where I am coming from with this (aside from Geo and Jannie), but I really feel strongly about this. I don't understand why most of you hate Bush with such a flaming passion. I guess I never will. Oh, well. You'll get your chance again in '08.
Love, Anthony.
